Whats In My Travel Bag: For A One Week Trip

This year is turning out to be pretty travel heavy with the month of May being perhaps the only one where I won't be boarding a plane. So last month before heading off to Gettysburg, Maryland I took note of what snacks I pack with me for a week long trip that includes a flight. So here's a look at what's in my travel bag;

Fresh Foods
Granny Smith Apples
Soft Sheep Milk Cheese like Rocatsin

Dried Bulk Foods
Almonds
Banana Chips
Dried Apricots and Pears

Packaged Foods
Artisana Coconut Butter*
Cherry Pie Larabars
Chocolate Coconut and Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip Zing Bars
Equal Exchange Chocolate Bars
Justin's Chocolate Almond Butter and Classic Peanut Butter*

*Both these items have to go in your quart sized baggie of liquids under 3 ounces.

My bag is a custom Mary Bag from Yellow Cat Bags. It's a pretty killer travel bag.

What's in your carry-on travel bag?

Thanks for the travel snacks ideas! I'm figuring out what to pack for an upcoming trip to South Africa. I didn't know that coconut butter came in those cute little packets.

I'll probably pack some macadamias, raisins, almond butter. Maybe I'll whip up something chocolatey and delish to bring along too.

Ooo South Africa! How exciting! I'm a big fan of macadamia nuts too.
